Stoogetastic Countdown to the New Year!

3...2...1...

Happy New Year! But before we reach those first seconds of a brand-new year, you have to get through the countdown leading up to it. Some people go to parties others watch TV specials...but our family has a special ritual that never fails. In the waning hours of the current year, we watch classic episodes of The Three Stooges. I started this tradition when my children were quite young. There really is nothing like a father and his sons watching the timeless comedy of Moe, Larry, and Curly.

I don't know if it's the beautiful simplicity of The Boys smacking, poking, and chastising each other or the gloriously goofy antics they get up to, but I don't know anyone that can watch The Three Stooges and not enjoy it. I love every Woob Woob and Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk they throw out there. And honestly, I can't think of a better way to enjoy the wind up of a long year and get ready for the hope and optimism of the new one.
